Major Advancements in Clamp-On Ultrasonic technology

Presentation Overview

Major strides have been made in clamp-on ultrasonic technology, some major breakthroughs are profile disturbance compensation that allows a flow meter to remain accurate by correcting for upstream piping configuration. Furthermore, steam flow measurement using a non-intrusive device is now possible and its capabilities will soon be available for superheated steam! Using ultrasound to measure steam flow offers a major improvement in accuracy over existing technology as well as a huge drop in installation/maintenance costs.
